Stretch out your lunch break and hone your writing skills in this six-week cross-genre workshop. Sessions will include writing exercises, discussions of contemporary literary techniques, and comment on your works-in-progress. Participants will submit a short selection by October 9 (prose: 20 pages, poetry: 3 poems maximum) to be distributed to the workshop group.
All receive a complimentary one-day drop-in pass from CILK119 (a $35 value).
About the facilitators:
Donna Miele writes fiction and nonfiction. She has been published in MendaCity Review, blogs for Magnificent Nose, and is an owner and manager of Cuppa Pulp Writers’ Space.
Poet, artist, and translator A. Anupama is a graduate of the MFA in Writing program at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her poetry has appeared in several publications including Fourteen Hills, Monkeybicycle, and The Bitter Oleander; and she is a contributing writer and poetry reviewer at Numéro Cinq Magazine.
